Ora.House is a design collective with a mission to uplift contemporary artists and craftspeople from Kentucky and the broader Southern region whose aesthetics challenge the primitive, rustic associations often assigned to the South. Each biannual drop will feature three new regional collaborators, selected by co-founders Natalie Officer and Daniel Chaffin to join their evolving Ora.House brand. The first collaborative collection will debut in fall 2025.

"Daniel and I have very different skill sets, but a shared aesthetic vision, which is what makes our new partnership work so well," Natalie says. "That said, we are looking forward to welcoming some of our favorite regional artisans to bring their complementary expertise to the Ora.House conversation, making us all stronger in the process."

Daniel Chaffin

For over twenty years, Daniel Chaffin has helped refine the language of contemporary furniture design through his work, teaching, and writing. Chaffin, featured multiple times in Fine Woodworking and Design Bureau magazines, 2012 finalist for the Martha Stewart American Made Audience Choice Award, and a Kentucky American Institute of Architects (AIA) Excellence in Architectural Design Award in 2011. His fine furniture design and highly specialized skills have earned him mastercraftsman status regionally and the perfect arbiter lens on Ora.House fine furniture and quality. Daniel is based in Louisville, Kentucky.
